Syllabary - Take Two

I've always wanted to play around with a syllabary but
I wanted it to be computer friendly too. So here's my
latest bit of fooling around:

A conlang syllabary designed to be used with a
standard
English keyboard and an ASCII font (yet to be
designed).

Each letter of the Roman alphabet is assigned a
syllable.

The letters can be written in upper case or lower
case,
and with or without an apostrophe or vertical bar "|"
which alter the vowel sounds. With a font designed
from scratch for the syllabary the apostrophe and bar
could become some kind of modifier stroke attached to
the preceeding symbol.
