I seem to have missed the original post on this. Please pardon if I repeat
anything.
Okrand's Klingon does this for sentences like "I am ... " etc. as there is
no verb "to be". E.g.
- "I became Klingon"
- tlhIngon jIHchoHta'
- /kligon I-change-complete/
My Palu f'Dule simlarly has no verb "to be".
- I am Dula
- wi ha dula
- I (sj) dula.
- I will be Dula
- wit ha dula
- I-future (sj) dula
Palu f'Dule allows the tense suffixes on any noun or verb, but the meaning
isn't exactly the same across all sentences.
- Nafa ha xato ho wh'wi cofatdi. E.g.
- /mother (sj) book (oj) to-me gives-future-she/
- Nafat ha xato ho wh'wi cofadi
- /mother-future (sj) book (oj) to-me give-she/
