Okay,  I personally would think it odd to hear [milj@n] (though [mili@n]
sounds just fine to me).
However, this is not a minimal pair because there is no word with a
different meaning for it to
be a "pair" with.

P.S.  I am perfectly aware of the preposition at the end of my sentence.  I
am perfectly comfortable
with it hanging there, innocently, like a prepucio. ;-)
