Ah, not so: at least on the West Coast we've got Skippers (which is, let's
not mince words, pretty gross), and in Seattle there's Ivars, all of which
are chains.
And the...er...dubious connection back to conlanging is that in my most
recent project "avlaahcöqngwo'uu'aret" means "American fish and chips
chain." :)
