Then they must be something else - a glottal stop is, by definition, a
closed glottis.  If it's closed, then it cannot vibrate, and the
vibration of the glottis creates voicing.  Unless you're using the "fake
vocal cords" (is that the term?  I can't remember), which some people
can access.
