This is one of those questions where I wish I could answer with an
illustration. But since I have no idea how to illustrate this via
email, I'll have to describe its location instead.
The epiglottal articulator is located between the pharyngeal and the
glottal articulators. The epiglottis is the fold at the root of the
tongue that closes over the glottis and windpipe to prevent food and
liquids from running down the wrong throat.
I wish I could draw this, but I hope that was clear enough anyways.
