Valdyan has _roshin_, a variant collective plural of _rostyn_ "insect",
worn down from the usual plural _rostyin_. _Roshin_ specifically
means "creepy-crawlies", as opposed to the normal plural which
doesn't carry a value judgement.
It's the same with lice: _pistyn_ "a louse", _pistyin_ "(some
individual) lice", _pishin_ "(an infestation of) lice".
