Vancouver, BC is *the* Vancouver :) -- You'll know this better come 2010.

I've only been *through* Vancouver, WA (on the way to Portland). I'd assume
they sound the same as the rest of Washington, and here it gets a little
funny: To watch a Seattle news program, you'd think that they sound like
Canadians. You can even hear a few of them use the "Canadian"* raised [Vi]
and [Vu] sounds. To actually walk through any part of Washington, you'll
find that most of them sound like the people on the news but about one in
three sound almost Texan. I'm not sure how this works, unless that many
people in Washington actually do come from other states.
