Well. I found another SMTP server which could manage 8-bit encoding, firs=

using the SMTP at my college but it was too slow (I guess the message hat=

go via satellite to Miami and back to Bogot=E1 before the SMTP put it on
Internet as a Mail mesage, finding its way to Brown University and then t=
o
all our recipients). Fortunately there was many mail-enable Internet
conected Unix machines in the LAN at work and I've just tried different
address until I finnally found one that could manage 8-bit encodings.
(I had tried all MIME and UUencode configurations hopelessly, only changi=
ng
SMTP was a solution)
