Clearly one of the big obstacles is getting the bootstrap grammar and vocabulary examples translated into many natural languages. One alternative approach might be to take advantage of online resources that either have already been translated into many languages, or need no translation. You could choose words that have Wikipedia articles in many languages and link to videos on Youtube, e.g. S P V O TORI EM VOLA UMI TIVA TORI http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vogels VOLA http://id.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terbang TIVA http://nah.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ilhuicatl http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I5GbFgk-EPw It would be handy if the forum provides an easy way to add links inside a post, so that proposed new words can be defined in this way.
