I have borrowed few ideas from Katanda myself for my logical
language. The _Lexical Semantics_ is almost too good. I've
had to think hard to come up with ideas to prevent my language
from being a Katanda-clone. I can say that it's finally starting
to pull away, but I still can't shake his view on case roles,
as much as I've tried.
Anyway, I think a group for Katanda is a good idea. Have you
tried to contact Rick? He might well be interested since it
*appears* at this point that his language is baselined and
that most of his work is going towards the lessons and the
dictionary. It would obviously be ideal to have him on the
group.
I am not interested really in becoming fluent in Katanda, but
I would definitely join the group if one formed.
