You might take a look at Glosa. It has many of the qualities you
describe. Unfortunately, it's a blue-bitch to learn online, since for
some reason they keep the 6000 word dictionary a secret. *rolls eyes*
There is a 2000 word dictionary, though, that works sufficiently to give
you a base vocabulary; I send messages to a friend in Glosa quite
frequently, discussing everything from Shamanic techniques of the !kung to
the relative values of poetry and science.
The grammar's extremely simple -- absolutely isolating. Took me about an
hour to learn to read it with the help of a dictionary. The vocabulary
consists of Greek and Latin roots; quite easy to learn.
Will it be a uniting force for world peace? Heh. Mi ridi. (I laugh)
il ne es u lingua qi pote krea u no-guera. (There is no language that can
create peace) Sed mi amo u Glosa. (But I like Glosa)
