Ignorance and fear of bats have diminished bat populations by three
fourths in the world, and yet they remain one of the most populace
of mammals!  I'd love to see them.

I posted the paper I read in March, and only about nine people asked to
see
it.  I didn't want to post it publically, so I put it on a private page
and had people ask to get the URL.  Because it isn't published yet, I
prefer to do it this way.  I'm touchy about circulating essays of mine
that haven't been accepted for publication.  Too much can change, ideas
have to be refined and fleshed out, etc. etc. etc.  If and
when I find a good venue for it, and it's in final form, everyone will
get to see it.
