For me, it's a distinct /p/, more /m ps/ than /mp s/, so it's not
aspirated. But I'm the odd dunce. <|:- (

Yes, I'm the only one. I made up that word because:
a) it's quick
b) the normal version is inadequate to the task
c) a random inspiration particle thwacked me over the head
d) I wasn't busy with a conlang at the time
e) my muse is part of a union
