In my speech at least, I pronounce /a~Z~elik/ and /a~Z~elikma~/, i.e. the
nasalisation is stopped very rapidly and doesn't spread (only a little to
the /Z/ because it's a continuant following a nasal vowel). It's a
well-known feature of French that nasalisation doesn't spread in this
language (certainly because it's a phonemical feature, more than in most
other languages, which is used to oppose lots of words).

I understand. French people a quite difficult with their language (and I
sometimes fall into this default too) and want it to be pronounced
perfectly. You shouldn't listen to those people though :) .
