Sai,
I was going to say I hope you avoid making it sound
like a "SciFiCon"; now I'm doubly convinced! :-)
You see, you could be awfully clever and come up
with something like "ConLangers Confer I" - then
miss your target audience (apart from diehards on
this list). Whereas if you called it something simple,
direct and meaningful like, um, "First Language
Creation Conference" ;-), then people tripping over
it anywhere would know exactly what you meant.
Would that be a bad thing?
And what proof is there that this is _not_ the FIRST
EVER conference devoted to the Arcane Arts and
Sciences of Conlanging? So proudly claim your due!
