        Problem: free.fr has disabled mail routines within PHP (last I checked, at
any rate--I doubt they've changed their policy), so that it cannot be used
for spam relays. This would mean that there wouldn't be a way to check
mailing list subscribers, at least in the way you propose. Maybe Vaksje has
an idea?
