Ah, glad to know I'm not alone in the conlang universe, at any rate :-)
Interesting that [dZ] often seems to be related to [j], e.g. in Hindi.
I wonder why this is? They don't seem very similar to me...

btw. although it's already been observed, many times over, the page you
made for the translation relay is beautiful! The relay idea was great, too;
I hope these become something of a Conlang tradition.
I'll be signing off from the list tomorrow, look forward to returning by
late October.
