As a matter of fact, yes. The point of Asimov's book was that mankind
was mind-bogglingly stupid or foolish to the point that they'd destroy
two universes through their bull-headed stupidity. :). (My
opinion/intepretation, of course...and it's been a longish while since
I've read it!)
I'm not familiar with the "Schiller" line that is being referred to.
What's that from?
