Senjecas has six vowels and distinguishes between /o/ and /O/. For /O/
I use the letter yus. According to the section on Old Church Slavonic
on Omniglot "yus" was a nasal /O/. I figured that was close enough
for me to use it in a Cyrillic spelling of Senjecas. I realize that
Old Church Slavonic is not a "Soviet" language, but I do think it can
be cited in this instance.
