Not so bold, since AFAIK the Dutch and Scandinavian traditions for
pronouncing the classical languages both go back to Erasmus! :)
I say [pulker] nowadays, since in Latin "ch" was probably never a
fricative, and the aspiration in this word is automatic due to the vicinity
of /r/. That they wrote it out was Greek influence, tho...
