Thanks to everyone for their answers. I wonder now, how the
emphatics would fit in to my phonology - would it be natural to have
the pharyngealized emphatics and the retroflex consonants in the
same language?
For those who are interested, I found a very useful series of papers

It seems very useful for those who need info on Proto-Semitic or
Semitic comparisons.
