UPDATE: Re: Latin pronounciation

Well, I've spoken with a local priest and seminarian (RC) regarding
having to study Latin. Apparently a _very_ minimal amount of Latin
and Greek (both Classical) and less Hebrew are required. Even less
comprehension is required, as the priest's classes were conducted
on a "just do the best job you can" basis. It would seem that the
courses are mostly designed to familiarise the seminarians with the
overall shape of the languages - so that they could use them if
necessary and not stumble too badly when reading them.
