Oh, I use it anyway. In my opinion, "une jolie fille" is a beautifull
girl, and I use it as a synonym of "belle".
Elle est vraiment jolie = elle est vraiment belle. (I hate hearing "elle
est bonne", that souds horrible !!!)
However, I woud not write the first one.
But I guess it depends on the place you're from.
