Better a spacecraft. There's a little problem with time travel. In an
hour, the world moves a significant distance (if I recall truthfully, 600
miles, not to mention rotation). In seven thousand years, it moves much
more. The sun also moves a lot in that time, as well as this galaxy.
Of course, everything in the universe _could_ revolve around our little
planet in very complex orbits. And before everyone started mucking about
with satellites around the world, I would have argued that the earth
could be rather flat. Slightly bowed, but rather flat.
Does it matter? No. I just thought I'd mention it.
