Interesting you should ask such a thing.  I've been thinking lately
how caste dynamics would shape my fictional (Subcontinental) Indian
language isolate (jokingly referred to as "Project X" thus far and
yes, I do work on several projects at once, not just linguistic...
:) Come on, I know I'm not the only one).

As the Polish and the hilarious Russian examples point out, though,
caste is not something restricted to India and can be found in
anyone's back yard.
