I was about to do just this for a RPG project some years
ago, which unfortunately died out. There was supposed to be
two castes: "religious leaders" and "the people".
When the project died, my own interest did as well. But I'd
be very interested to see what someone else could come up
with. It would be interesting to see if and how this
"conscious" difference between two dialects/sociolects would
differ from a more normal, unconscious language change.
I'm guessing there would be more lexical differences
(substitution of words) and less differences due to
phonological change.
