I once had an idea for a novel (which I never wrote) in which a princess married a foreign prince and (as was often historically the case) moved to his kingdom and had to learn the language; the intent was that the language lessons would actually be incorporated into the novel (like the Henry V/Catharine of Valois scenes in Shakespeare's Henry V, only much more so) until lengthy passages were actually in the conlang language of the prince's realm.
