Could be. ::dusts the scorch marks on emailbox::

That's odd. I thought AuxLangers loved regularity to the point of
complete artificiality.

LMAO. ::pokes-pokes John Cowan:: There's an Essentialist Explanation!

Oh talkin' of Klingons and causin' a lingua fracas... I once popped into
a online chat of "Star Wars Vs. Star Trek" fan(atic)s. They were debatin' the
relative virtues and subjective greatness of their particular fav sci-fi
"world."
I lurked for a bit before someone asked me to "speak up."
I said Star Wars is feudalism and latent fascism dressed up in sci-fi
opera drag.
And that Star Trek was no better: that it is a militarized society giving
lip-service to being democratic and moralistic, when in fact it is neither
democratic or moral - being more or less imperialistic and downright
manipulative/Machivellian.
Long story short: I continued to receive hate email for like 2 years
after that... The worst hate-mailer was a person with the screen-name of "Sith
Vader" (or something like that) - he/she/it would send 169 hate-emails a day @_@
ObConlang!: Also a few years ago, IIRC some our overly-rambunctious,
_highly prominent_ colleagues * on this here list decided to "slum" in AuxLand
with the expressed purpose of starting a lingua fracas. ::sarcastic tone::
Reaaally bright idea, guys...
Suffice to say all beat a hasty-albeit-triumphant retreat - but some did
get nasty email for a bit (2-3 weeks). And we did get a few dozen "visitors"
ourselves on this list from _that_ AuxLang list... still spoiling for a fight.
(I think we still do sometimes... but I could just be a tad lil bit paranoid.)
This just another reason (amongst a plentitude) why this list has such
marked, virulent antipathy towards AuxLang "politics."
