Re: Country names still needed

Can I venture a suggestion?  List Soviet republics by themselves.  Though
for the life of me I can't imagine what you'd use for, say, the Baltics (as
long as you stick to animals).  There's a subculture in Lithuania whose
symbol is, I think, some kind of black bear, but that's not really
distinctive.  If I were choosing a new name for Lithuania, I imagine I'd
link it to the word for amber.
