Question: Is this supposed to be a list of present-day countries? If so,
there's no need to list any Soviet Republics at all, since, Aleksandr
Lukashenka notwithstanding, there aren't any.
Of course, the various independent countries that used to be SSRs deserve
being included just as much as any other country.
