A lot of cities have a "loop" that basically circles the
city/metropolitan area. These are sometimes very confusing because
different sections are designated "North", "South", "West", "East"
according to what part you are on. The worst I saw was the loop around
Ft. Worth, Tx. Briley Parkway in Nashville is another one that will
get an outsider mixed up quickly.
I really hate it when they double up on route numbers so you can have
"Hwy 50", "Hwy 50-Business (loop)", or even "Hwy 50-Bypass" (usually
bypasses the main part of a town). And usually the address you are
trying to find only designates "Hwy 50" without mentioning which one.
