When going through my recordings of Denden I noticed that in some words
the high vowels (/i/ and /=FC/) are often but not consequently pronounced
long and very high, but I've not been able to find a minimal pair, so it
can't be a really distinctive feature, and it's not enough to say that
Denden has tone - but it should be described, and I am wondering how
to do it. Has anyone a good suggestion?
