Not as much of a punishment as eating vegemite! :-)

I frequently get bogged down while reading books, or distracted while watching movies and plays, when I start trying to spontaneously translate the dialogue into Tokana. This happens especially when I run across a word or turn of phrase for which there is no obvious equivalent in Tokana. I find myself saying, "Now how would I handle that...?" Sometimes when I'm reading I get so caught up in 'the translation game' that it takes me forever to get to the end of the page. The vocabulary of Tokana has certainly benefitted from my ordeals, however. Matt.
