Speaking of r's, I recently decided that the Tairezazh /r/ is an alveolar
trill in standard pronunciation. Previously, it was a retroflex trill, which
altho' I find it easier to pronounce, doesn't fit into the general
phonological system very well.
I also realized that one could sort Tairezazh consonant inventory in way
that looks quite symetric:
