I wanted badly to learn Linux at one point, but I didn't think freshman
year of college was a good time to experiment with a new OS when I was
probably going to have to Actually Do Stuff like writing papers and
whatnot, so I jumped ship to the Mac, grieving for DOS (yes, DOS) all the
while...
