Thanks :). See what sheer boredom of a telecommunications class can
inspire? I actually had it turned the other way so that the vowels were
vertical and the consonants horizontal, but didn't much like it that way.

It also has this faint "sinitic" look to it as well. Probably all the
combinations of long strokes and short strokes. It probably would be very
nice to embroider along the hem of a garment as well (would look like
simple geometric patterns to an outsider or illiterate person).
