I should have added that the lumping together is motivated by more than
geography. There are considerable similarities between Livagian and
Scungric in phonetics, phonology and grammar, and probably also lexis.
So there is a Boreatlantic sprachbund. It appears that Livagian has long
been a prestige influence on Scungric. It's hard to give details, because
materials on both Livagian and Scungric have been appearing in only small
dribs and drabs.
