Hi Adam,
I'm currently working on a conlang which is eventually to develop a highly
inflected synthetic morphology comparable to Proto-Indo-European. I've not
really delved in to the inflections - I'm still stuck with the roots. But
I'll be using prepositions and postpositions, theme markers, particles, etc.
at first quite analytzically and subsequently running them together.
Eventually I will allow for analogical remodelling and cross word-class
influence, i.e. the inflections of adjectives will influence the noun
endings and vice versa, or other features. It's still very much a building
site, but I want it to have a natural feel. So I'll start out with
analytical phrases and run them together and see what happens when the
morpho-phonology develops and how sound changes affect shape and structure.
All very vague still, but I hope you can get where I'm coming from.
Dan

I need help with creating a declension (system?). I think I'm quite bad at
it. I've looked at various languages and the patterns they seem to use.
Which gives me ideas, but I don't want to rip mine right from an existing
language. I was wondering if anyone had any advice that might make it a bit
easier?
