Some languages make more than 3 distinctions, for instance, one Bantu
(?) language I read about has:
Distant Past (more than 2 days ago)
Remote Past (day before yesterday)
Past (yesterday)
Near Past (earlier today)
Near Future (later today)
Future (tomorrow)
Remote Future (day after tomorrow)
Distant Future (more than 2 days later)
I'm not sure of the terminology.
