TEPA [TEP] Upper Colorado River valley, Glenn Canyon (southeastern
Utah). Isolate. Inflecting, verb-initial, hierarchical argument
structure, and complex sandhi alternations similar to neighboring
Southern Paiute. Only extant documentation is contained in unpublished
journals of Alma Walker, based on material collected from a Southern
Paiute-Tepa bilingual in the latter half of the 19th century. Extinct.
Work in progress.
