I see no reason why /l/ can't be there.
I also see no reason why /r/ can't be syllable-final where /l/ can!

What do we do then? I say let's have /l/ and /r/ in clusters, and also
at syllable endings. What do you think?

Also, what is /r/? I prefer a flap (Spanish, I know), or an English /r/
(retroflex or not).
