A few times, but I can't think of any specific examples.
However, I did use that notion to my advantage in playing a prank on my
uncle and aunt once. I told them that _sake_ was actually pronounced
[sejk], which they believed since it seemed reasonable that people would
"over-foreignize" just such a word. :-)
