I suppose that the conflict here is between whather you want the language to
be evocative of these places, or logically seem to be plausible to be spoken
in these places.
Sooo, a rustling forestly language would either be quite crisp and crunchy
with consonants, to counteract the forest noise, or be all full of syllabic
sibilants and voiceless vowels, to evoke the whispering sound of rustling
leaves.
