I interject that "quient" in "quient ancient forest" may mean
"quiet" or "quaint" and that David took it to mean "quiet"

That came to me, though I thought (considering the keyboard layout) that
"quiet" was probably the most likely. Maybe it was a portmonteau, though. :)
