When I was creating/discovering the Druni language I simply knew the sounds I
liked and decided to include them. (Ranti ta Drunit sholova
vataranarit/zhanshunarit onyavu tumpi ishyavu ta ketashovo kiinovo brinyaru
vey vutova lugavya veykalyavu.)

I am particulary fond of the sounds of Italian and Russian and I like several
of the Finnish endings so I put them in! (Pientaizhe ta ketashu ta Italit vey
Rusit sholarun zhoyese isteryaren vey sneha ta gadankarenainen ta Suomit
shola brinyaru chali vutova dinifelyavu!)

Druni culture originated in the enormous deserts of Drun and spread out from
there. (Ta Drunit kayar dini ta gidanunit givanbirava Druna vanyiven vey
izaay kreymishavit onyara.) Now it is no longer a "desert language" but is
used in all regions of the planet. (Tsorni "givanbirit shol" ra-onyara arey
ruzay dini shey ta tayunava ta bredia iguayira.)

The "flavor of the language" just grew from there on its own. (Ta "telyus ta
shola" izaay tumpi sadjurilu argidanifyava.)
