The names of the suns, as given by the humans (named after St. Peter and
St. Paul). The humans are a religious colony (hence the names), a sort
of neo-Amish community. They've rejected some technology, and retained
others. For instance, they've rejected television and radio, preferring
live entertainment, but they've retained virtually all medical
technology. Interestingly, they've retained, and perfected, a form of
long-distance holographic projection technology, used for many kinds of
inter-regional or even intra-regional, especially meetings of the mayors
or regional governors. They live in small towns, averaging a thousand
people, grouped into hundreds of regions, usually consisting of a couple
dozen towns, their capital, East Landing, had 12,589 at the last census,
the largest town on the planet.
