Indeed! So much that I didn't begin conlanging because I had discovered Tolkien
or Esperanto, but because I was taking Latin classes!!! :))) It's true, I began
conlanging *during* Latin classes, which were boring for me because too slow
(the others seemed not to be able to grasp the basics of Latin grammar.
Personally I had already finished reading the Latin grammar book we had to
buy ;)))) . Oh yeah, I was 13 ;))) ), and my first conlangs were mere relexes
of Latin with sometimes a bit different features (like an instrumental case - I
had heard of it already), genders and declensions mapped very well ;)) , etc...
And Jovian is even less evil
