Hmm. /t_hVrOno/ does seem to be more of a slang pronounciation, from my experience. I do use it like that in fast and/or casual speech, but I doubt I'd say it like that if someone asked me where I lived, and so I gave the somewhat for careful pronounciation.

Hmm. Wouldn't surprise me. ;-) Actually, I imagine it wouldn't be regional, but cultural - I come from a Jewish backround, which certainly does have some effect on how I talk. -- Robert
