Nah, ri:l @straylj@nz don't come from the actual d&un anda (Note: /au/ >
/&u/ is normal is Aussie), they come from Hollywood. (Incidentally, I've
never been able to get a good Hollywoodaussie accent until I read that
transcription. Fancy that, a Russian telling an Aussie how to speake
Strine...)
